The UW Libraries / National Network of Libraries of Medicine Pacific Northwest Region (NNLM PNR) have an outstanding opportunity for a Clinical Trials Specialist.
This position, working with the Principal Investigator (PI), Director, National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific Northwest Region, will lead the Clinical Trials.gov project. The project includes clinical researchers working at the UW and at participating universities in the Pacific Northwest states of Oregon, Washington, and Montana. Results will be reports to the National Library of Medicine and at meetings and conferences. This is a full time position funded for 12 months.
Clinical Trials.gov is a National Library of Medicine registry and results database used by clinical researchers around the world. The UW Office of Sponsored Research and clinical researchers use Clinical Trials.gov to register and report data on federally funded studies conducted at UW Medicine, Harborview Medical Center, Northwest Hospital, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and SCCA. Clinical Trials.gov impacts compliance requirements with federally funded grants.
The UW NNLM program is housed in the Health Sciences Library (HSL). The HSL is a unit of the University Libraries. It is a leader among the national community of academic health sciences libraries and has long been known for innovative information management programs and services.
