The School of Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for a Director, Marketing Operations and Analytics.
The Director, Marketing Operations and Analytics is responsible for directing and optimizing the UW Medicine Strategic Marketing & Communications marketing systems, processes, data and analytics. This detail-oriented position will lead strategic direction for marketing analytics, marketing operations and technology, and marketing planning practices; lead improvements in workflows and timely production of asset deliverables; develop and define key success metrics for marketing campaigns and digital assets; design dashboards that track these metrics; and create and direct the strategies and ROI (return on investment) for events and sponsorships. The ideal candidate loves to dig into data, polish processes, and is an analytics expert who is adept at uncovering and communicating key takeaways in an understandable way. This person will ensure that the marketing and communications team has the tools, data, reports, and processes it needs to be successful.
This position requires someone who is highly detailed and results oriented who understands best practices in developing processes and analytics that support the marketing and communications function. This person must be able to balance the need for change with making change happen in a positive manner.
The Director, Marketing Operations and Analytics position is critical for UW Medicine growth and development by creating a robust analytics unit that provides key data and analysis for strategic planning. UW Medicine has moved to be much more data focused in our work, developing and reviewing key performance analytics that measure effectiveness and return on investment in UW Medicine digital campaigns and products. Instilling a more process-focused framework is another critical role this position will lead, which is essential high-quality and effective marketing and communications.
