The UW School of Dentistry’s (SoD) Department of Pediatric Dentistry, located at Magnuson Park, is the region’s premiere authority on children’s oral health. The Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing management of the operational strategy that supports the mission of the (CPD) and the SoD. Working collaboratively with School of Dentistry leadership, department Chairs, department faculty and staff, the Director will establish the policies, processes, resources and systems to support the Department’s patient care, education, and revenue goals.
Under the general supervision of the Associate Dean of Clinics, the CPD Director of Clinical Operations will provide leadership and management over all clinical functions and facilities that support the patient care process at the CPD, including centrally reporting support services (sterilization, dental maintenance, IT) for the Magnuson facility. Leveraging an overall understanding of the patient care process, the Director will develop and foster an atmosphere of teamwork and shared responsibility. This vital role builds upon the existing patient-centered culture at CPD.
