The Q Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Director who will provide broad leadership in the area of student development, academic success, and well-being. While the staffing is small, the Director has broad responsibilities in serving as a primary advocate and educator to University leadership about issues, trends, and best practices related to the LGBTQIA+ student community and in providing consultation and referral for University departments with regard to enhancing a safe and respectful environment for Queer students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
The Director requires broad knowledge in the student growth and development and excellent management and leadership skills. This role provides leadership and consultation regarding the campus LGBTQIA+ community, policies/protocols/practices, well-being, and advocacy. The Director must be an effective University leader and champion. The role requires an individual who can coordinate programs, services, and outreach to assist with student success and retention.

Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Higher Education, Student Personnel, Counseling, Social Work, or Education
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except where there are legal requirements such as license/certification/registration.
