UW Information Technology (UW-IT) is the central information technology organization for the University of Washington, responsible for strategic planning, oversight, and direction of the UW’s IT infrastructure, resources, and services. Business & Finance is an internal unit within UW Information Technology (UW-IT). It is focused on providing critical business, financial, and logistical support services to the various divisions within UW Information Technology. These services include: Accounting, Resource planning and budgeting, Financial reporting and analysis, Management reporting, cost center accounting and rate development, Procurement, Asset and inventory management and Logistical support.
UW-IT has an outstanding opportunity for a Financial Analyst.
The UW Information Technology (UW-IT) Financial position requires a high level of collaboration, the ability to understand the complex funding, pricing, and overhead models and the ability to lead the team through a time of significant change. Collaboration between this position and other members of the finance team is critical as well as collaboration with the central University Financial Management team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
