The Michael G. Foster School of Business currently has an outstanding opportunity for a FISCAL SPECIALIST 2.
The Fiscal Specialist’s primary job function will be to provide fiscal support to the Dean’s Office and specialty masters programs in the Foster School of Business. These functions will include processing travel, reimbursements, purchasing, and reconciliation. In addition, this position will provide some budgetary oversight for the approximately 800 budgets (preventing and correcting deficits). This position will be housed in the Foster School of Business Dean’s Office and reports directly to the Assistant Director of Finance and HR.
A successful candidate for this position is able to work independently while also being a team player.
They maintain an excellent attendance record and can be adaptable and flexible when necessary. This position requires keeping up-to-date on UW fiscal policies and procedures as well as a friendly, customer-service oriented disposition with all faculty, staff, and students.
