UWC² has an outstanding opportunity for a Payroll Fiscal Specialist 2 within their Payroll team.
The Payroll Fiscal Specialist 2 provides complex payroll support for approximately 800 part-time instructors, and may provide backup support for 200 staff, in the following employment classifications: professional staff, classified staff, faculty, temporary workers, union and non-union extension lecturers, and graduate student assistants. Along with an extensive use of Excel, Workday is the main software system used for performing work. This position will interact with extension lecturers, faculty, staff in UWC² and campus departments, and the Integrated Service Center (ISC) when issues arise in Workday.
Success in this position requires a focus on customer service, the ability to process and track multi-step complex payroll processes, working well under deadlines, and enjoys working both individually and as a team. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of experience at a level equivalent to Fiscal Specialist 1 AND 15 quarter hours or 10 semester hours of college level accounting, or equivalent education/experience.
