The Office of Clinical Services Accounting at the School of Dentistry serves the accounting support needs of the patient care clinics and departments throughout the School including but not limited to cash handling support, insurance and patient payment processing and posting, financial report production and review, and budget reconciliations. The Accounting team values diversity in staffs. Under general supervision of the Financial Analyst, the Fiscal Technician 3 will serve as the central cashier for the dental clinic operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Requirements
High school diploma, or GED certificate AND fifteen quarter hours or ten semester hours of college-level accounting or bookkeeping AND two years of full-time experience as a Fiscal Technician, or equivalent, including experience using accounting-related software; An Associate of Arts Degree, or equivalent, in accounting or business may substitute for one year of required experience..
Desired
Experience in the health care field.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except where there are legal requirements such as license/certification/registration.
