The HMC Ambulatory & Allied Care Services has an outstanding opportunity for a Health Program Operations Specialist (Full-Time, Day Shifts).
Primary Job Duties Include:
• Use knowledge of Business Objects Webi, Cognos, Epic, Horizon Performance Manager, Horizon Business Insight, UHC tools, Amalga, and other applications to obtain, analyze, and disseminate information to AACS.
• Use knowledge of other applications and sources of data both within and outside the organization to enhance information analysis and reporting.
Other Job Duties Include:
• Work closely with customers to assess information needs and develops adhoc and standard reports to meet those needs. Types of reporting expertise includes, but is not limited to, access measurement, provider productivity, utilization, and dashboard reporting.
• Consult with and assist leadership with establishing and/or maintaining the following reports including, but not limited to:
• Quarterly UHC benchmark reports
• HMC AACS/PCS Clinics Access Dashboards
• Provider presence – sessions and visit reports
• Clinic appointment cycle time
• Provider rvu reports
• Clinic weekly dashboard reports
• Epic auditing reports
• Clinic Medical Director dashboards
• Work to maintain and improve the quality and integrity of data collected for decision making and works with other areas of UW Medicine to ensure consistent reporting of information. Analyzes and makes recommendations for improved data quality.
• Serve on IT and Epic committees including: Epic master file changes; Cognos developers; BOE developers; and server management subcommittee.
• Participate in process improvement teams and committees charged with improving patient care delivery systems and processes by offering analytic skills and knowledge of available data. Assists in the design and creation of data collection and reporting tools.
• Participate in the design, development, documentation, and maintenance of both decision support data and applications to support information needs.
• Work closely with Epic analysts and Data Warehouse architects to troubleshoot issues with Epic that become apparent through report requests.
•Provide user education on decision support data and applications and helps to ensure access to data with the goal of reduced reliance, over time, on analytic support in order to obtain data.
• Supervise the maintenance of MS Access/SQL databases used within AACS including managing the permission for users, creating customized functions and reports for users, managing problems or errors, and serve as the system operator for databases.
