UW Medicine Human Resources has an outstanding full time, temporary, opportunity for a HR/Payroll Cutover & Go-Live Support Lead. The duration of this position will be from approximately June 2019 through January 2020.
This position is part of a project team supporting two integration efforts within UW Medicine: (1) On January 1, 2020, Northwest Hospital (NWH) and UW Medical Center will become a single hospital with two campuses; and (2) On January 1, 2020, UW Physicians (UWP) staff will become part of the UW School of Medicine. This role’s responsibilities, as described below, will be focused on the HR, Payroll, and Labor workstream of these two integrations projects. The Cutover and Go-Live Lead’s responsibilities are broken up into two related areas: 1. Cutover – The Lead is responsible for planning, managing, and executing a detailed cutover plan encompassing all of the business and technical activities required to transition employment for NWH and UWP staff. Cutover planning includes both the actual go-live cutover management as well as the mock cutovers leading up to go-live. This role will provide the strategy, approach, checklists and work plans to drive to a successful transition and will develop the detailed cutover checklists. 2. Go-Live Support – This role is responsible for defining the go-live support requirements and process for the HR & Labor workstream and overseeing all aspects of the go-live support including space planning, staffing, technical setup and daily operations.
This position must quickly get up to speed regarding UW, NWH, and UWP. It must master the complex differences between them, what is changing, and what is remaining the same.
UW Medicine has over $4.6B in annual revenue. This position plays a key role in the integration of NWH and UWP which are considered vital steps for the future of UW Medicine.

The duration of this position is estimated until approximately January 31, 2020.
Position requires some travel around Seattle between the UW campus, NWH, and UWP.
