UW Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Manager, UWMC Linen Services. This individual will be accountable for and oversee the operations for all linen services at the University of Washington Medical Center. This includes, but is not limited to, establishing inventory levels, ordering, and delivery of linen throughout the medical center, quality control, ensuring regulatory requirements are met, and supervising front line staff in the linen department. In addition, the Manager, UWMC Linen Services will manage the contract between UW Medicine and the designated laundry vendor. This will involve financial accountabilities, quality control, service levels and problem solving intermittent issues. This position will manage Customer Owned Goods (COG) items, which will include being directly involved in product selection, standardization, inventory control and purchasing.
