University of Washington Medical Center's Ambulatory Float Team has outstanding opportunities for MULTIPLE Full-Time Permanent and Hourly (per diem) MEDICAL ASSISTANTS. The Ambulatory Float Team provides short and long term coverage for both planned and unplanned absences of the Ambulatory Care Division. This is a great opportunity to learn about our clinics first hand!
As part of daily duties, Medical Assistants assist health care professionals in the examination and treatment of ambulatory patients in a variety of clinic settings by performing duties such as preparation of patient and environment for treatment, conducting basic laboratory and electrocardiogram tests, care of the patient post-treatments, patient education, and clerical reception functions including:
