Harborview Medical Center's Medical Specialties Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a 100% Full-Time MEDICAL ASSISTANT. Under general supervision, the Medical Assistant (MA) will assist the medical and nursing staff by performing delegated tasks that involve direct patient care; technical procedures or monitoring that may be invasive and require skills validations; transportation of patients, supplies and specimens; ordering and stocking of supplies; and maintenance of special equipment, including sterile equipment and set-ups. The MA role may include coordinating the clerical activities and supporting the front desk activities for patient care in the clinic. Participates in clinic and selected divisional activities to promote effective problem solving and communication.
