UWMC Radiology has an outstanding opportunity for a full time day shift NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIST SUPERVISOR. The Nuclear Medicine Supervisor is an integral role in the department of Radiology. This role oversees the operation of a nuclear medicine division in a clinical and academic setting.
Primary duties include but are not limited to:
•Provides leadership to enhance nuclear medicine operations for efficiency, quality, and safety.
•Participates in employee recognition, performance management and performance evaluations.
•Attends to patient and employee satisfaction data appropriately.
•Coordinates hiring of new staff and oversees employee on-boarding and competencies.
•Reviews safety reports, recommend process improvement, and communicates process changes.
•Manages department and employee schedules.
•Leads and conducts staff meetings.
•Promotes staff training and education.
•Ensures departmental compliance with regulatory agencies and lead inspections as needed ie. The Joint Commission, WA State Department of Health, etc.
•Perform routine billing reconciliation and audits.
•Manages inventory and purchasing requests.
•Maintains and enhances relationships with vendors and medication manufacturers.
•Coordinates equipment maintenance and purchasing.
•Acts as a liaison between medical staff, hospital staff, department staff, and patients.

Minimum Qualifications:
Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine
AND
Two (2) years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Lead
OR
Equivalent education/experience.
Legal Requirement
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear Medicine in the State of Washington.
