Our Nutrition Services department has an opportunity for a part-time (20 hours per week), day shift FOOD SERVICE WORKER!
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Food Service Supervisor. Prepares and serves food items for patient meal service. Ensure food is handled safely and presented attractively. Ensure tray accuracy for patient meal orders. Maintain safety and sanitation standards in work area, actively contribute to team process, and maintain cooperative work environment and work to improve quality food and services provided to patients, staff and visitors. Use proper cleaning and handling techniques with kitchen equipment. Perform heavy cleaning and sanitation duties in the dish room and kitchen.
JOB DUTIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of, or eligible to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment.
