UW Medicine Chargemaster Operations has an outstanding opportunity for a Pricing Analyst. Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Chargemaster Operations, this individual will ensure rational and defensible pricing for all hospital services and performs assessments of affiliate prices compared to the other local healthcare providers and industry standards. The Pricing Analyst recommends price-setting methodologies and incorporates all factors impacting hospital price-setting, including market conditions, costs of patient care, governmental payment rates, local demographic factors, new technology costs, local standards for patient care, local economic conditions and hospital financial condition, among others.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/related field AND at least six (6) years of hospital pricing and/or contracting experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.
