UWC² has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Administrator within their Academic Programs Operations team.
Are you energized by work that involves adaptability, strategic organization, and multi-tasking? If so, consider promoting your professional growth as a Program Administrator (PA) with UWC². This multi-faceted position maintains, implements, and delivers a diverse portfolio of high-quality degree, certificate, and specialized programs delivered in a variety of formats. The PA makes key decisions in collaboration with program managers to ensure the success of the day-to-day operation of their programs.
The PA will be knowledgeable of a wide range of UWC² and UW policies and procedures governing programs, instructors, and students. To thrive in this role, the PA will work effectively across operational teams internally within UWC², with other academic and support units at the University, and with instructors and students. Overall, this position safeguards the effectiveness and efficiency of key processes and complex tasks that are central to the success of these self-sustaining programs.
In addition, the PA works as part of a team to proactively engage with leading professionals, campus partners, professional associations, and the UWC² marketing team to raise awareness and ensure we meet the needs of the adult learning communities we serve.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
COURSE AND INSTRUCTOR MANAGEMENT
Responsible for course data management, which drives numerous processes to ensure positive student experiences. Prepare instructors for their courses, providing information on system access, processes, and procedures. Familiarize instructors with course expectations and responsibilities. Facilitate efficient room, equipment, and technology needs and assignments.
PROGRAM LIAISON AND COMMUNICATION
Establish and maintain strong communication channels with all stakeholder groups, campus partners and internal support teams to proactively plan and resolve operational issues. Contribute to and provide quality control for website content. Process program applications based on standardized review procedures.
FACILITATIVE PROGRAM LEADERSHIP
Seek opportunities to update and improve the operational processes and procedures associated with programs and courses. Participate in training new AP Operations team members. Assist in training new program managers on PA role, as well as on the student information system. Provide coverage for team members who are out of the office or during times of staffing transitions. Assign work to student assistants as needed.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND PROGRAM PROMOTION
Contribute to marketing and recruiting efforts through event planning, advisory boards, information sessions, and other community outreach activities.
FISCAL ADMINISTRATION
May perform some budget preparation and program set up in the student information system in conjunction with Fiscal Services.
