The Division of Student Affairs has an outstanding opportunity for a PROGRAM COORDINATOR in the Office of the Registrar. Under general direction of the Registrar’s Office Operations Specialist, this position supports the administrative functions of the UW Tacoma Office of the Registrar by providing direct service to students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members by in-office, over the phone and by email involving a breadth of understanding about the university departments, policies and regulations. Key functions include staffing front desk, managing office email inbox, issuing Husky ID cards, processing applications for returning and non-matriculated student admission, completing enrollment verifications and other documents on behalf of students, accurately updating student database for majors/minors, names/addresses, registration. This position also supports the Assistant Registrar by finalizing requests for hardship withdrawal and tuition forfeiture petitions through SDB data entry and communication with students regarding the outcome of their requests.
