The Center for Collaborative Systems for Security, Safety and Regional Resilience has an outstanding opportunity for a Part-Time Temporary Program Coordinator.
Position Description: JOB DUTIES
A great opportunity to play an important role in a national research center within the department of Human Centered Design and Engineering.
Schedule, Support & Manage meetings - 45%
• Schedule, invite and take notes at meetings
• Prepare and or assemble necessary materials for meetings, including background information, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, invitations, and catering.
• Coordinate logistics, travel and materials.
Public Outreach & Stakeholder Development - 30%
• Serve as a point of contact for CoSSaR; respond to phone, email and social media inquires.
• Operate as liaison between CoSSaR and partners / stakeholders, including scheduling meetings, and relaying sensitive information across partnerships.
Website & Digital Media Management- 25%
• Maintain the CoSSaR website on a monthly basis, including adding new content and updating existing content.
• Design and manage CoSSaR promotional materials such as digital content, informational factsheets, brochures, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Design and maintain social media accounts for CoSSaR.
• Develop, track, and maintain digital repertoire for on-going projects (timelines, progress, milestones, progress /status reports and study presentations)
• Assist the CoSSaR team on web-based and/or digital-based issues.
Requirements:
High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty
OR
equivalent education/experience.
• Excellent oral, written and design skills, the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and to relay information accurately using digital communication methods.
• Highly organized, resourceful, and independent; strong ability to prioritize, work efficiently, and maintain attention to detail while handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Proven customer service orientation with demonstrated interpersonal communication skills.
• The ability to work with a multidisciplinary team, and collaborate across the Federal, State, Local, Tribal, International, Public, and Private realms.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to function cooperatively as a team member.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and independently determine appropriate communications and procedures to handle sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
• Willingness to actively participate by offering suggestions for improving team efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
• Experience using digital information sharing tools such as Dropbox, Google Drive, and Zoom.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Google Docs.
