The School of Medicine and Dean of Medicine Information Technology has an outstanding opportunity for a Project Manager/Business Analyst.
The PM/BA has responsibility for analysis, documentation, testing and overall management of projects. Projects may include system infrastructure refreshes/changes; data and reporting infrastructure development; software development; feasibility/scoping studies; product evaluation, purchase and implementation; and business process analysis/improvements.
The PM/BA will define business needs as well as assess impact, feasibility and cost. S/he will manage teams that develop solutions. The PM/BA will manage communications with (and expectations of) clients, leadership and support staff; address the competing interests of varied stakeholder groups; and work with UW and non-UW entities to obtain the right mix of internal/external services to meet client needs.
The PM/BA will lead projects associated with information systems infrastructure upon which School of Medicine (SoM) business processes are dependent, to include School of Medicine systems that: 1) manage cross-department functions; 2) provide infrastructure for Dean and UW Medicine decision support; 3) interface with UW Medicine systems. Projects assigned to the PM/BA will focus on: improving the quality of data, systems and processes; creating efficiencies; and reducing redundancy throughout the School in ways that will lead to economies of scale and cost savings.
