If you are a highly organized, creative, and dynamic nurse who can help deliver highly interactive care and education to patients and be a good advocate for our patients and their families, this is the position for you. We require an RN with exemplary communication and teaching skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
The RN will collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team consisting of cardiologists, surgeons, interventionalists, other sub-specialty nurses, advanced practice providers, research team, and administrative staff to coordinate, support, and implement the medical care of this complex patient population.
This position will float between different Sub-Specialties of the clinic including General Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Structural Heart Services, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Complex Coronary services.
Two years of cardiology experience (inpatient or outpatient) and BLS/CPR certification required; BSN strongly preferred.
There are weekly team meetings, case conferences, cardiac grand rounds, journal clubs and other educational opportunities that the RN can attend to grow professionally. Requires
• Current state Registered Nurse Licensure.
• Two or more years of recent critical care experience.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Current ACLS OR within 6 months of hire.
• BSN plus two years cardiac nursing experience desired.
