The Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Research Scientist/Engineer 1. The purpose of this project is to assist in defining virologic and immunologic correlates of protection in epidemiologic studies of respiratory viral infections.
Perform laboratory procedures and investigative work as part of ongoing research projects. Under the general supervision of the Principle Investigator, perform a variety of moderately complex investigative/technical procedures; interpret results and determine whether they are consistent with experimental goals; modify experimental procedures or technique to obtain optimal experimental results; assist in the assembly, organization and interpretation of data. Assist in the planning, execution and analysis of research experiments.
