The Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Research Scientist/Engineer 1.
This position is engaged in cancer research, translational medicine, and immunology. Specific cancers that are researched include lung, breast, colon, bladder, prostate, and ovarian.
The Cancer Vaccine Institute (CVI) includes multiple researchers that develop novel, immune based therapies for treatment, prevention and diagnoses of cancer. This position provides support for basic research and pre-clinical trials in mice that will potentially be developed into new human clinical trials. It supports the progression of an experiment from initial tests, progressing through the research toward the final pre-clinical project. These pre-clinical trials often result in additional funding for new clinical trials, supporting the development of translational research.
