The Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology, and Nutrition has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Research Scientist/Engineer 2. The Research Scientist 2 will support rodent studies performed and conducted in the laboratory of Dr. Joshua Thaler at the University of Washington South Lake Union campus.
The position involves all aspects of the project including oversight of the mouse breeding, genotyping, metabolic measurements of transgenic animals, intracranial surgeries, and drug administration (injections). This position may also involves oversight of research assistant(s) involved in aspects of the breeding and bench work.
