The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Research Scientist/Engineer 3.
Working under the general direction of the principal investigator, the Research Scientist 3 will utilize lung biology expertise to conduct extramurally funded research with the goal of identifying key elements of the innate immune response to lung infections using animal models of disease and in vitro studies.
This is a 1.0 FTE position. The candidate will be expected to perform meticulous laboratory procedures to identify cell-signaling pathways regulating lung inflammation and injury using in vitro and in vivo models.
