Working under the direction of the Principal Investigator (Dr. Jelacic), the Research Study Assistant will be responsible for analyzing video and audio data collected by anesthesia providers using wearable data input device during procedures in operating rooms at University of Washington Medical Center. The Research Study Assistant will be responsible for assisting anesthesia providers with using and troubleshooting data input glasses, reviewing the video and audio data using video analysis software and entering the data into the database.
The Research Study Assistant will also assist with screening, consenting, data collection and entry for the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists study entitled “Randomized Study of the Clinical Impact of Surgical Correction of Tricuspid Insufficiency in Implantable left ventricular assist device (LVAD) patients” under supervision of Dr. Kei Togashi. As appropriate, the research assistant will also assist in the conduct of other ongoing clinical research within the Division of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology.

JOB MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience: 2 years of college-level course work relevant academic area AND 1 year of appropriate experience OR equivalent education/experience
Education/Experience Areas: preferably in health sciences, social sciences, or other relevant areas;
