UWMC Ambulatory Care has an outstanding opportunity for a Clinic Nurse Manager, Oncology & Alvord Brain Tumor Center (ABTC). This individual will be responsible for directing the business, technical, and support activities of Oncology & ABTC Clinic at UWMC. Oversee administrative functions of the clinic including operations, marketing, facilities, finance, human resources, planning, and development. As the Clinic Nurse Manager, you will collaborate and work closely with the Outpatient Oncology Infusion service as it is part of our collaboration with UWMC Oncology and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance patients who need antibiotic infusions, chemotherapy infusions, blood product infusions, symptom management or procedures during any phase of their treatment course.
With an emphasis on providing clear patient communications, our team of specialty-trained surgeons, physician assistants and nurses partner with oncologists, radiologists, radiation specialists and other healthcare professionals to provide a careful, yet aggressive approach to tumor diagnosis, imaging and treatment, including surgery.
The Oncology & ABTC Clinic Nurse Manager will be responsible for overall administrative management through operationalizing the medical center's values, mission, and goals, and with a specific focus on program development and multidisciplinary collaboration that centers on UW Medicine Patients Are First principles. As the Clinic Manager, you will hire, supervise, and develop clinic staff in such a way to create effective teamwork, plans, and implements programs, services, and educational materials to meet specific patient care needs. Work to continually improve clinic operations and efficiency. Cooperate in monitoring and tracking patient outcomes. Prepare, evaluate, and manage financial reports and budget.
