UW-IT is the central IT organization for the University of Washington, providing technology solutions to all three campuses, UW medical centers and global research operations. UW-IT collaborates with University partners to advance teaching, learning, innovation and discovery at the UW.
UW-IT is currently looking for a Senior Integration Architect who will support the UW-IT work on Finance Transformation, the University’s large scale project to modernize its finance operations, business systems and processes. The position is a role in the newly established UW-IT FT program (ITF).
The Senior Integration Architect is responsible for architectural direction and alignment of all data deliverables within the scope of the ITF program. These include financial integrations, reports, and the definition of data required to deliver them. The Senior Integration Architect must align and influence decisions across multiple teams, including: integrations and reporting workstreams in ITF; IT service teams responsible for enterprise platforms for integrations and reporting; the UW’s Finance Transformation program; governance groups; and partner IT and business units at the UW.
The Senior Integration Architect is expected to advocate for and lead implementation of appropriate data management best practices, processes, governance, and standards within the UW’s enterprise architecture. This position will drive an overall program approach that supports the integration of financial data in sustainable ways.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities but may be asked to coach other architects or implementers. The Senior Integration Architect will work closely with other architects in multiple teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.

Work in an open office environment and contribute to collaborative team work focused on problem-solving. Daily interactions with other team members, subject matter experts and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. While the general working hours are within Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., this position will, on occasion, need to adjust hours to accommodate the business needs and deadlines.
This position on the Finance Transformation Project is temporarily funded; continued employment is contingent on ongoing funding and performance.
