UW Medicine Supply Chain Management's objective is to ensure our patient care experience is enhanced by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.
UW Medicine Supply Chain Management has an outstanding opportunity for a FULL-TIME SUPPLY CHAIN TECHNICIAN 1 (Day Shifts- 5am to 1:30pm). The Supply Chain Technician 1 (SCT 1) reports to the local Supply Chain Materials & Logistics Supervisor/Manager with additional oversight from the local Assistant Director/Site Lead at UW Medical Center Medical Stores.
The SCT 1 receives, warehouses, couriers, puts away, requisitions, picks, distributes, and/or delivers general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout various healthcare settings. Although use of material handling and transportation equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand dollies, vans, and cargo trucks is typical for this work, driving a truck that requires a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is not required.

The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes the UW Medicine Mission, Core Values, and philosophy. The incumbent actively demonstrates the UW Medicine Service Culture Guidelines and adheres to all department and organization policies and procedures.

The schedule for this position is 5am-1:30pm Monday - Friday with occasional weekends and holidays.
