Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences - Seattle Cancer Care Alliance
University of Washington invites applications for a full-time faculty psychiatrist position at the clinical assistant professor, clinical associate professor or clinical professor rank in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences deployed to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance with an anticipated start date of March 1, 2022. Clinical assistant professors, clinical associate professors, clinical professors in the department have an annual service period of 12 months (July 1-June 30th)
Our integrated psychosocial oncology program is built on a multidisciplinary collaborative care model. Responsibilities will include being a proactive team member at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) (a consortium of the University of Washington, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and Seattle Children's Hospital), as well as clinical consultation and treatment of oncology patients in the ambulatory setting. Experience in consultation-liaison psychiatry and multidisciplinary collaboration are essential. The successful candidate will have expertise in psycho-oncology, diagnostic assessment, psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and behavioral therapies. Applicants with strong academic potential in research or education will be preferred.
Providers are afforded up to a full day per week of administrative/academic time on the service.
