Veterinary Technician

West Ashley Vet utilizes electronic medical records and Cornerstone PM system. This position would involve daily computer use and EMR data entry. Our hospital is well equipped to provide excellent small animal medicine, surgery and dentistry. You must be able to lift 40lbs unassisted. This position will require you to be on your feet, walking, bending and stooping for extended periods of time. We are looking for a veterinary technician with a well-rounded set of skills, including but not limited to: anesthesia monitoring, digital radiology, dental prophylaxis, dental radiology, venipuncture, low-stress animal handling, surgical prep and assist, IV catheter placement and management, drug calculations and medication administration. Experience with an anesthetic ventilator is a plus.

Requirements:
LVT, CVT or RVT preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Salary commensurate with experience.
