Windham Southeast Supervisory Union
The Windham Southeast Supervisory Union seeks a one-year Technology Assistant to support teachers in providing equitable access to virtual instruction for all WSESU students. The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma and a minimum of two years of additional education, as well as two years of experience in education or a related field. The candidate will have experience with personal computers, computer applications and instructional software, and will demonstrate knowledge of the instructional use of technology.
Duties will include: Provide input in the development of system-wide and building level programs that enable students to use technology as learning tools. Provide training to teachers in the use of current instructional technology to meet curriculum goals. Provide training for families in technology use from home Assist with general website maintenance Develop and compile teacher and family resources for technology support Maintain current knowledge of technology and instructional practices that relate to the use of technology. Teach workshops and mini-sessions on single topics for the staff of assigned schools. Assist assigned schools with hardware inventory at the beginning and end of each school year. Establish and maintain student rosters for district-wide software programs in assigned schools. Install applications and software as needed. This position is in Wage Grade 5 ($20.06 to $27.06 per hour depending upon experience), 7 hours per day, 191 days per year.
